| 1 The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side. | 1 Nang araw na yaon ay lumabas si Jesus sa bahay, at naupo sa tabi ng dagat. |
| 2 And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore. | 2 At nakisama sa kaniya ang lubhang maraming tao, ano pa't lumulan siya sa isang daong, at naupo; at ang buong karamihan ay nangakatayo sa baybayin. |
| 3 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; | 3 At pinagsalitaan niya sila ng maraming mga bagay sa mga talinghaga, na sinasabi, Narito, ang manghahasik ay yumaon upang maghasik. |
| 4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up: | 4 At sa paghahasik niya, ay nangahulog ang ilang binhi sa tabi ng daan, at dumating ang mga ibon at kinain nila; |
| 5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: | 5 At ang mga iba'y nangahulog sa mga batuhan, na doo'y walang sapat na lupa: at pagdaka'y sumibol, sapagka't hindi malalim ang lupa: |
| 6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. | 6 At pagsikat ng araw ay nangainitan; at dahil sa walang ugat, ay nangatuyo. |
| 7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them: | 7 At ang mga iba'y nangahulog sa mga dawagan, at nagsilaki ang mga dawag, at ininis ang mga yaon. |
| 8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. | 8 At ang mga iba'y nangahulog sa mabuting lupa, at nangagbunga, ang ila'y tigisang daan, at ang ila'y tigaanim na pu, at ang ila'y tigtatatlongpu. |
| 9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. | 9 At ang may mga pakinig, ay makinig. |
| 10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? | 10 At nagsilapit ang mga alagad, at sinabi nila sa kaniya, Bakit mo sila pinagsasalitaan sa mga talinghaga? |
| 11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. | 11 At sumagot siya at sinabi sa kanila, Sa inyo'y ipinagkaloob ang mangakaalam ng mga hiwaga ng kaharian ng langit, datapuwa't hindi ipinagkaloob sa kanila. |
| 12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. | 12 Sapagka't sinomang mayroon ay bibigyan, at siya'y magkakaroon ng sagana: nguni't sinomang wala, pati ng nasa kaniya ay aalisin sa kaniya. |
| 13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. | 13 Kaya't sila'y pinagsasalitaan ko sa mga talinghaga; sapagka't nagsisitingin ay hindi sila nangakakakita, at nangakikinig ay hindi sila nangakakarinig, ni hindi sila nangakakaunawa. |
